Tour Description
Your experience begins with pick up from selected Cape Tribulation hotels, or the Jungle Adventure Centre in the centre of Cape Tribulation. We’ll take you to our private location in the rainforest where you’ll be fitted with a safety harness and meet your interpretive guide.
Rise to the tree-canopy on our world’s-first Human Hamster Wheel Cable Lift, before flying along the flying-fox cables to the next of 6 tree-top platforms, each interconnected to the next by another flying-fox cable. At each platform your guide interprets the nearby rainforest for you, pointing out areas of interest, wildlife and plants, as well as suggesting some great photo opportunities.
Our guides also help control your flight, so you can fly our ziplines hands-free, taking photos or video of your experience (Cameras are attached to your harness so you don’t lose them). You can fly slow, fast or even upside down, in complete safety, no matter what age you are from 3 to 103.
You don’t need any flying-fox experience, just a sense of adventure, and some simple appropriate clothing such as long shorts or trousers (no skirts), and a shirt that covers your shoulders so the harness doesn’t irritate. And of course, be sure to wear enclosed shoes which are securely fastened to your feet so there is no chance that they fall to the floor of the rainforest.
